Jack Frost - Jackson KE1T Kelly

This one was Jack's favorite guitars.  It is a black FLAT TOP Kelly with white binding around the body and neck. I think the reason Jack played this one so often is because it plays amazingly well, and sounds even better then it plays.  It has a very powerful bottom end, more so then any other Kelly I have.  This one shows some ware, but not enough to make you sick, just enough to let you know it was loved and played.  When I saw the Poet's and Madmen tour, she was in Jack's rig that he was using.  This Kelly was also toured with Jack when he plays in his side project called "Seven Witches".  The first Seven Witches record was recorded with this Kelly, for most of the parts.  There was some of Jack's Les Paul in there too.

The story with this one is interesting.  At the time, their were three identical guitars made.  They were for Marty Friedman to pick up and use.  Marty came in and only decided to take two of them, since he still had to pay for them (thanks Jackson, I'll go out and sell a ton of your guitars with my name on them, but you have the nerve to charge me for my few that I get).  The first one he loved and used for a ton of Megadeth stuff, the second of the triplets went to Andy Bauer's storage facility with Marty and Dave's other back ups.  And the third, was sent out to Jack, and is now here!
